In a basement food court in Flushing New York hides a former rising Chinese actor who now make noodles twelve hours a day for a living.
The future for him lies in his own hands. Hard to establish himself in the foreign country, he set out for the origin of ramen noodles in China, trying to invest his acting talent into noodle making by directing a short film.
